How I got my Thyroid nodule to shrink?

My Throid nodule has been consistantly shrinking since I have been taking Chinese Herbs from my accupuntuist. Dr. Mai at Seattle institue of Oriental medicine. I have had a nodule which was diagnosed in 2004 and growing at least a centemeter a year. After 3 weeks of taking the herbs I had another ultrasound and the nodule shrunk 2 centemeters in that time frame. I just wanted people to know that there are other options worth trying. I have been on the herbs for 3 months now and it's no longer papatable, and still shrinking. So it's worth a shot. My endocronlogist wanted me to have it removed and I decided not too because I felt I wanted to check out all my options so after many years of searching I stumbled upon this. I'm so thankful and want everyone to know. I'm not a Dr. however I think in my case that the nodule formed because of stagnant energy or energy that I was holding onto due to stress. The herbs somehow are able to soften the tissue and make it shrink. Anyway I hope that is helpful to someone considering surgery. Take care.
